Benjamin Young is a Strategic Architect at John Wiley & Sons, Inc. His work for Wiley includes collaborating to build out internal policy and standards for open source, APIs, and privacy enhancing technology. Benjamin also works extensively with standards organizations such as the W3C to collaboratively build the future of publishing and data technologies as a co-editor of the Web Annotation specifications and co-chair of the JSON-LD Working Group. For the past 10 years, he has helped grow API community collaborations as a co-founder and co-organizer of REST Fest. He is better known online as BigBlueHat.
