Abhi Arunachalam is an investor at Battery Ventures. He focuses on early and growth stage investments in sectors such as security, big-data analytics and AI. He has 12+ years of technology and investment experience. Abhi is currently involved in Battery’s investments in InfluxData, Fungible, JFrog, Expel & Jask. Before joining Battery, Abhi was a Partner at Intel Capital. At Intel Capital, he helped lead investments in category defining companies such as Recon Instruments (acquired by Intel), EyeFluence (acquired by Google), Mirantis, Blue Data, Inrix, iZettle, & Brit+Co. He also served as a board observer at Urban Airship, Kaltura & CashStar. Prior to that he spent over six years at Qualcomm Research & Innovation in various operational roles & was involved in the design and deployment of LTE in Asia. Abhi holds an MS in computer science from the SUNY Buffalo and an MBA, with honors, from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
