In IoT use cases, the devices are MQTT clients that publish information to an MQTT broker. To handle billions of devices, MQTT brokers can be scaled horizontally, but it is difficult to scale the subscribers that process this information. In this presentation, Swapnil Bawaskar will discuss how Apache Geode can be used to scale the subscribers that stand behind Apache Apollo as the MQTT broker.
I am a committer on Apache Geode, have been working on the project for the past 8 years, from before it became a part of ASF. I have previously presented at: Spring One (2010): Geode Clubhouse (2015) Java User group meetup Seattle (Feb 2016)
