Barbara Gomes is a Full Stack Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience with software development and IT solutions. She got her bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from CEFET one of Brazil's top Engineering University and she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Since she joined Litbit.com, over 1 year ago, she has developed an interest in IoT. Barbara is one of the main committers for the Apache IOTA incubator project. Before joining Litbit, Barbara worked for IBM on Big Data analytics using Apache Spark. She has spoken at Datapalooza 2015 where she presented the Big Data RedRock project powered by Apache Spark.
